Graphic Novel Analysis Group Presentation 
Gods, Goddesses and Superheroes class reads a graphic novel, does an analysis on their individual novels and then compares answers in a group. Then, the groups present comparisons of analysis to the class. This is the rubric for the presentation.

Pannels, Gutters, and Balloons are discussed in type and the reasons why the student feels the author/illustrator utilized these types of each gn tool.

Genre, Setting, Character & Plot

The genre, setting, a little about main characters, and detailed plot structure are given in each graphic novel presented. This will include, type of genre, setting place and time, exposition, rising action events, main conflict, any secondary conflicts, any conflicts, climax, falling action, & resolution

Rating, Recs, Likes & Dislikes

Student rating of 1-5 with 5 as the best possible score given. Student evaluates gn on age & gender based on reading level, content and etc. This is a recommendation. Student will also list at least one good thing about this gn and at least one thing he/she didn't particularly care for.

Presentation

Each person in the group must present his/her gn and compare it to the others. Each person MUST speak. Presentation includes: eye contact, volume, clarity, lack of idiosyncrasies (um, ah, like, etc.)
