Excellent

The paper illustrates a complete understanding of book banning and good research is presented in the essay. Some parallels are made with Fahrenheit 451.

The paper lacks a sense of complete understanding of book banning, though some positive elements are apparent in the paper, with perhaps a few comparisons with Fahrenheit 451.
Fair

The paper understands general concepts associated with book banning, however lacks the attention to content details necessary for an effective paper. Not much connection with the novel here.
Poor

The paper shows poor effort on the part of the student, going so far as to suggest not having done much research, or research done is obviously not their own.
Organization

The paper is well organized, information is clearly stated and there is a natural flow between topics. Good points are brought up and even some questions posed to the reader.

The paper shows little to no effort on the part of the student. Organization is not present, and the lack of flow in the paper makes it tedious reading.

A flawless paper that adheres to the grammar and punctuation rules.
Good

A few mistakes but nothing major that hinders the reader's understanding.

Quite a few mistakes that takes away from the written paper. Using grammar or spell check in Microsoft Word would have helped.

The paper is filled with writing errors, showing that little to no effort on proofreading went into your paper.
