SAMR Quadrant	Basic Substitution- Task has no structural changes. Only includes technology as a direct substitute for recall-based task. Could have been done before computers.	Approaching Modification- Technology allows for task redesign. Students using computers to complete a task that could not have been done before computers. Application of knowledge.	On-Track Augmentation- Functional improvement of the task. Allows for application of knowledge. Student thinking and can summarize process.	Mastered Redefinition- Students inventing, creating, making products while evaluating/judging their hypothesis. Real-world situations
