iRubric: A Model of Our Solar System rubric

Very little or no creativity. Minimal color is used.

Some thought has been put into the project. There is some color and the planets are close to their correct color.

There is large amounts of creativity being shown. All planets have their correct colors and imagination has been used when designing the solar system model.

Planets are not correctly proportioned.

Example: Mars should not be bigger than Jupiter.

The proportions are close but there are a couple mistakes.

All planets are correctly proportioned to each other.

Written responses are incorrect and/or difficult to read.

Written responses are accurate but difficult to read.

Written responses are accurately and well-written.
There are no errors in spelling or punctuation.
