History Presentation History Presentation Students were given an assignment to research a particular person or event that we have learned about up until this point. At the end of their research they were to present to the class their findings. They were also to hand in a written summary, about a page in length, explaining what they discovered in their research. History Research Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Biography	Poor Student had almost no information and neglected to complete research.	Fair Student's research included related information about topic but wasn't constructed well.	Good Student's reserach was missing one component about the historical topic/subject.	Excellent Student's research was detailed and focused.
Bibliography	Poor 1 Student did not seem prepared for their presentation.	Fair 2 Student was mostly prepared for their presentation.	Good 3 Student was adequately prepared for their presentation.	Excellent 4 Student was completely prepared for their presentation and to submit their page summary.
Comprehension/Content	Poor 1 Student seemed to not fully understand the content they researched.	Fair 2 Student had some understanding of the content in their project.	Good 3 Student understood their research.	Excellent 4 Student understood and felt completely comfortable with the information in their project.
Oral Presentation	Poor 1 Student found it difficult to organize their thoughts into words.	Fair 2 Student needed several teacher prompts to deliever their project.	Good Student was able to deliever their project with relative ease.	Excellent Student was comfortable and confident delivering their project.
Project Board	Poor Student had no or only some of their project board complete.	Fair Student had some to most of their project board complete.	Good Student adequately completed their project board.	Excellent Student successfully constructed a detailed and creative prject board.
