Genetics Baby Book 
Students will create a baby book based on their understanding of genetics. This project will count as a summative grade, as it is assessing the students on all concepts within this unit.

Students work shows a basic level of understanding of Mendelian genetics. There are some errors in the higher level concepts, such as pedigrees, dihybrid crosses, and the sex linked traits.

Student shows an deep level of understanding of the content. All traits, punnett squares, the pedigree, etc are completed with accuracy.

Student was not able to complete the project where the information remained consistent throughout the project. There were several times the student switched the gender of the baby and/or the pictured traits do not align with the parent traits.

Student maintained some consistency throughout the project. There were some traits expressed in baby that could not be genetically possible; however, student was able to picture baby with most of the parent traits.
Exceeds

Student maintained consistency throughout the entire project. All traits of baby aligns with the parent traits, where the picture of baby is accurate.
