Use the following criteria to complete a group poster for your assigned Texas ecoregion to be presented to your peers. Your poster should aim at persuading your peers to move to your ecoregion.

Neatness Color Handwriting Visible font Illustrations	Poor No color, illegible handwriting, font is not visible to audience, none or inaccurate illustrations.	Fair Poster has a fair amount of color, hand writing is legible, some font is not visible to audience, some inaccurate illustrations.	Good Poster is colorful, neat and legible handwriting, visible font, accurate illustrations.
Abiotic Temperature Precipitation Soil Content	Poor All information is inaccurate or is not present on poster.	Fair Poster contains information that is somewhat accurate or some information is missing.	Good Poster contains annual highs and lows for the following: temperature and precipitation. And type of soil found in biome.
Biodiversity Plants Animals	Poor Plant and animal information is inaccurate or is not present on poster.	Fair Poster discusses the plants and animals found in that ecoregion but does not address unique organisms to that ecoregion.	Good Poster discusses the variety of plants and animals found in ecoregion and addresses any unique plants or animals to that ecoregion.
Human Impact How does the human population affect this Texas biome.	Poor Poster contains no information on the effects of human impact on land, plants, or animals for that ecoregion.	Fair Poster explains how human impact is effecting one or two of the three required aspects (land, plants, animals)	Good Poster explains how human impact is effecting the the land, plants, and animals of that ecoregion. Extra Credit: 1. Discuss the effects of an invasive species in your biome 2. Discuss the effects of nutrient pollution in your biome.
Summary Attempts to pursuade audience to move to assigned ecoregion	Poor Poster makes no attempt to persuade the audience to move to assigned ecoregion.	Fair Poster attempts to persuade the audience to move to assigned ecoregion with some of the following information: 1. Recreational activities 2. Weather 3. Events 4. Appealing attributes (scenery, industry, etc.)	Good Poster attempts to persuade the audience to move to assigned ecoregion with the following information: 1. Recreational activities 2. Weather 3. Events 4. Appealing attributes (scenery, industry, etc.)
Individual Rough Draft Each group member should complete a mini individual rough draft of the assigned ecoregion poster.	Poor Student submitted an individual rough draft but was missing more than half of the required content.
