Strike: Starting and Sustaining an Arc 
In this lab you will have to strike and Arc and sustain it for four seconds. You will have to do this ten time in a row. You will only get one chance at this so take your time and do lots of practice before you ask to be graded. For each time you get stuck, you will lose points. This lab like all other is out of 100 points.

Striking and Sustaining an arc

Students have to strike an Arc an sustain it for 4 seconds and most do this TEN TIMES.

Student could not sustain an Arc and got stuck all the time and never once could get one started for the time being

Student still had lots of trouble starting an Arc. Could sustain one or two, but not for long enough time.

Student can start an Arc about 1/4 of the times, but never can sustain an Arc long enough.

Student can start still about 1/4 of the Arc's and one could sustain one Arc long enough

Can start an Arc about half the time and only sustain 1/2 of his Arc's.

Starting and sustaining just over half the Arc's.

Starting and sustaing 7 out of ten Arc's and just getting stuck three times. The getting stuck we had to stop to get unstuck.

Starting and sustaining 8 out of 10. Getting stuck twice where we had to stop or three little quick sticks.
90

Starting and sustaining all but one or too short one one Arc or getting stuck once or getting stuck twice, but quick sticks.
100

Starting and sustaing an Arc all ten times or getting a quick stick once.
