Advanced The topic was clearly introduced, previewing what is to follow. All paragraphs have a clear topic sentence.
Content 20 pts	Basic Topic is developed with facts, definitions, details, as appropriate.	Proficient Topic is developed with facts, definitions, details, as appropriate. Includes some use of quotations, or other information and examples related to the topic.	Advanced The topic is developed with relevant, well-chosen facts, definitions, concrete details,quotations, or other information and examples.
