Some body language may have been distracting. Voice is understandable, but lacks emotion or clarity.	Hit the Target Engaged the audience with eye contact, body language, emotion, and articulate voice.	Exceeded Expectations Captivated the audience with eye-contact, purposeful body language, passionate emotion, and a clear, articulate voice.
Idea/Purpose	Missed the Mark The purpose is unclear and/or insufficient support is provided.	Attempting The purpose is somewhat clear, but may be confusing. A little support is given.	Hit the Target The purpose is clear. The audience has a basic understanding of the ideas which are supported with proficient support.	Exceeded Expectations The purpose of the speech is clear. The audience understands the big ideas. Persuasive support is effectively delivered.
Call to Action	Missed the Mark Speaker does not provide a call to action.	Attempting The speaker provides a call to action, but it may be unclear, not specific, unrealistic, or not convincing.	Hit the Target The speaker provides a way to improve the issue which has been researched. Audience members may think about taking action.	Exceeded Expectations The speaker provides a clear and specific way to improve the issue which has been researched. Audience members are motivated to take world -changing action!
