Outstanding

Student built a strong example of a robot/robotic tool design. Great effort and ability. Student demonstrated at an advanced level.
Good

Student completed the task and met expectation. Good effort and machine was built to satisfactory. Student demonstrated a proficient level.
Fair

Student completed some parts of the task and was below expectation. Tool was half way built and student represented poor effort. Student's actual result are at a basic level.
Unsatisfactory

Student did not complete tasks or minimally and turned in late. Machine was not built at all. No effort was involved and student demonstrated understanding at a limited level.
Drawing in Tinkercad

Outstanding

Student created a neat and well planned drawing of their robot/robotic too.. The drawing shows exceptional use of workspace.
Good

Student created a useful drawing that could be printed and showed understanding of the work space with a few simple errors on the workplane.
Fair

Student created a drawing with several errors that could be fixed before printing.
Unsatisfactory

Student was not able to create a useful drawing. Practice in using a 3-D workplane is needed.
Explanation of Student Work

Outstanding

Student clearly explained in detail, how their robot/robotics tool work and their use in their space research. Student did not use any other person's work as included in their project.
Good

Student did a complete job of explaining their machine but could have added some detail. Student did not use other's work included in their project.
Fair

Student gave an explanation but made a few mistakes in how things work. Student may have used a copy of another's work in their project but clearly made it their own.
Unsatisfactory

Student did not give a written explanation or did not clearly explain the method used to build the machine. No explanation of how the machine works. Student simply made a copy of another person's work for printing.
