	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Organization	Poor The student has poems of each of the poetry forms studied except for two or more.	Fair The student has poems of each of the poetry forms studied except for one.	Good The student has at least one poem of each of the poetry forms studied.
Creativity	Poor The student has show very little elaboration and color in the illustrations of the book.	Fair The student has shown some elaboration and color in the illustrations of the book.	Good The student has shown a lot of elaboration and color in the illustrations of the book.
Word Choice	Poor The student has simple and repetitive language using little or no interesting language.	Fair The student has a mixture of simple ordinary language and interesting language. (descriptive language and sensory details)	Good The student has many examples of sustained use of interesting language.(descriptive language, sensory details)
Table of Contents	Poor The student only has some of the titles of the poems in the Table of Contents.	Fair The student includes all of the titles in the Table of Contents except for one.	Good The student includes all of the poem titles in the Table of Contents.
