Venus Vacation
Pretend you're on spring break and your family decides to head to Venus. What would you like to do there? What would it be like? What would you have to bring? Soak in the Venusian facts from printed and Internet references. Then write a detailed travelogue for your friends back home. As you write your dialogue compare and contrast Venus with facts about Earth. Be sure to compare and contrast Venus and Earth in terms of size relative to the earth, surface and atmospheric features, relative distance from the sun, and ability to support life. After completing the travelogue, upload it to the class blog. Your blog must be posted by day 5 of week one. Return to the blog site over the next week and respond to at least two of your classmate’s travelogues. Give support or constructive suggestions. Answer to respond to comments made regarding your travelogue blog.
