Capitals are used sporaticaly or improperly. Punctuation is used incorrectly. Proper grammar is inconsistently used. Spelling mistakes are frequent.
Level 3

Capitals are used at the beginning of sentences and proper nouns. Correct punctuation is used at the end of sentences. Correct grammar is attempted. Careless spelling mistakes are avoided.
Level 4

Writing conventions are always adhered to. Correct grammar is always present. All words are spelled correctly.
