Pot is close to stable.
Pot is getting closer to level. The walls are uneven, but making progress.
Pot is slightly too heavy - may not fire.Not enough clay was pulled from the bottom and it is weighty on the bottom.

Pot is stable, Pot is very close to level, Walls are mostly even. Pot is a good weight and volume.
The walls of the pot have a nice form, and are free of most unwanted blemishes and interesting alterations.

Pot is the right height and level. The walls are of a uniform thickness and the inside bottom has been repeatedly compressed. The pot is of good weigh and volume and not bottom heavy.
The inside bottom is smooth and flat. The inside bottom and the walls form a right angle.

The lip is mostly even and has been cleaned up with only a few blemishes on the lip or walls. The form is not purposeful. The foot is poorly trimmed.

The lip is even and purposely smoothed.
It has a comfortable placement in relation to the handle.

The lip has been repeatedly compressed and is even and perfectly smoothed and lip friendly. The form is purposeful, balanced and pleasing. It has a comfortable placement in relation to the handle.

The alteration is standard. The handle is stable but doesn't compliment the cup.

The form is conventional. The handle is adequate, fits the hand, and is placed appropriately. The design fits the shape

There is an interesting alteration of the form. The handle is well made and firmly attached in a horizonal placement. The handle fits comfortably in the hand and compliments the cup shape.

There was no foot created on the wheel. The cup has no demarcation for the glaze to stop.

The foot was made on the wheel and is conventional and obvious. It provides a good place for regulating the glaze placement.
Excellent

The foot is formed on the wheel or after by trimming. It stabilizes the piece and provides a safe glazing demarcation.

It looks as though a little more time could be spent working on the pot. Time on the wheel was partially off task.

Good amount of time spent working on the pot. Time on the wheel was applied to expressly for practice and effort.

Extra amount of time spent working on the pot. Time on the wheel was applied solidly to practice and effort. The time spent was all consideration for learning the skill. Accomplishing the goal was first priority.
