Public Speaking Rubric This rubric will be used to assess student speeches.
	Incomplete Student did not complete the requirements of the task. 2 pts	Poor Student met only parts of the requirements of the task. 4 pts	Fair Student met the basic standards of the task. 6 pts	Good Student clearly met the standards of the task. 8 pts	Excellent Students thoroughly completed the standards of the task. 10 pts
Voice Volume 10 % The entire class can clearly hear the speaker. Student pronounces most words correctly.	Incomplete	Poor	Fair	Good	Excellent
Voice Pacing 10 % The speaker does not deliver the speech too rapidly or too slowly. 3-5 minutes.	Incomplete	Poor	Fair	Good	Excellent
