History Presentation: 2nd Quarter History Presentation: 2nd Quarter Students were given an assignment to research a particular person or event that we have learned about up until this point. At the end of their research they were to present to the class their findings. They were also to hand in a written summary, about a page in length, explaining what they discovered in their research. Research	Poor Student's research did not adequately explore the topic chosen.	Fair Student did not research enough for their project.	Good Student's research was adequate for their project.	Excellent Student's research was detailed and focused.
Preparedness	Poor Student did not seem prepared for their presentation.	Fair Student was mostly prepared for their presentation.	Good Student was adequately prepared for their presentation.	Excellent Student was completely prepared for their presentation and to submit their page summary.
Content	Poor Student seemed to not fully understand the content they researched.	Fair Student had some understanding of the content in their project.	Good Student understood their research.	Excellent Student understood and felt completely comfortable with the information in their project.
Delivery	Poor Student found it difficult to organize their thoughts into words.	Fair Student needed several teacher prompts to deliever their project.	Good Student was able to deliever their project with relative ease.	Excellent Student was comfortable and confident delivering their project.
End Product	Poor Student had no or only some of their project complete.	Fair Student had some to most of their project complete.	Good Student had completed their project adequately and submitted and adequate summary.	Excellent Student completed their project and gave a fully detailed summary of their research.
