Spanish 1- Poetry Project "Yo Soy yo" Spanish 1- Poetry Project "Yo Soy yo" Student will create a poem based upon the outline given in class. Students will put the poem on either construction paper or small poster board thus making the poem visually appealing. Written Work 4 pts Poem	A Student had clear control and understanding of their poem. There were hardly any grammatical errors (1-3).	B Student had good knowledge of their poem. There were few grammatical errors (4-6).	C Student had little knowledge of their poem and had many grammatical errors (6-7).	D Student had almost no knowledge of their poem or their writing was incomprehensible. The storyline was poor and it was almost incomprehensible (more than 8 errors)
Creativity and Completeness 4 pts Visual impact	A Project shows above and beyond expectations. Outstanding visual appeal. Original drawing or photo along with the poem make a dramatic statement.	B Project shows evidence of work, some details have been added to make project impressive. Above average work was done and most of directions were followed. Project looks complete. Original drawing or personal photo is used.	C Project shows evidence of very hurried work. Minimum work has been done. Project seems incomplete. Some instructions were not followed. No drawing or photo is used.	D Project does not seem complete, most of the directions were not followed.
Presentation 4 pts Speaking in Spanish	A Student obviously comprehended their poem and practiced the presentation. Pronunciation was strong. Poem was presented clearly and dramatically.	B Student obviously comprehended their poem and practiced the presentation. Pronunciation was mostly strong. Poem was presented mostly clear and/or dramatically.	C Student needed to practice presentation more. Poem was difficult to understand and was presented in a monotone.	D Student did not practice presenting, was not prepared, and was difficult or impossible to understand.
