A basic rubric that is used to calculate how effective the student is at incorporating different models and physical representations into a situation.

Physics Summative Project This is the basic rubric that is used to calculate how effective the student is at incorporating different models and physical representations into the situation that they are focusing on with their final project.
	Mastered -All formulas are included and used to calculate different/new values. 4 pts	Fair -Most formulas are included and used to calculate different/new values. 3 pts	Developing -Some formulas are included and used to calculate different/new values. 2 pts	Not Evident -Minimal Use of formulas to calculate different/new variables. 1 pts
CVPM / CAPM Student explains the position, velocity, and acceleration at different points in time for the physical phenomenon being observed.	Mastered -Multiple clear graphs (x-t, v-t, a-t) for ALL different sections of time are incorporated. - Graphs are labeled and areas / slopes are explained.	Fair -All 3 kinematics graphs (x-t, v-t, a-t) for the one section of time are incorporated. - Graphs are labeled and areas or slopes are explained.	Developing -An example of a graph of the (x-t, v-t, and a-t) is used. - Graphs are labeled are explained.	Not Evident -Kinematics graphs/formulas in use are incomplete, lacking, or show fail to communicate the motion experienced.
BFPM / UBFPM Student explains the different forces at different points in time for the physical phenomenon being observed.	Mastered - Clear Free Body Diagrams are included to explain the forces at ALL different points of time. - At least one Scaled Vector Addition diagrams is used to calculate the Net Force on an object at at least one specific time.	Fair - Clear Free Body Diagrams are included to explain the forces at different points of time.	Developing - Clear Free Body Diagrams are included to explain the forces at least one point of time.	Not Evident - Free Body Diagrams are mislabeled or incomplete.
MTM Student explains what is happening with the momentum at different points in time for the physical phenomenon being observed.	Mastered - Multiple momentum bar charts are clearly labeled and used to show the momentum at ALL different points of time. - Force vs. time graphs are used to show ALL changes in momentum caused by outside forces.	Fair - Multiple momentum bar charts are clearly labeled and used to show the momentum at MOST different points of time. - Force vs. time graphs are used to show MOST changes in momentum caused by outside forces.	Developing - A momentum bar charts are is used to show the momentum at one section of time. - A force vs. time graphs is used to show changes in momentum caused by outside forces at one section. ETM Student explains how energy is transferred at different points in time for the physical phenomenon being observed.	Mastered -LOLL diagrams are used effectively at ALL critical points when the energy is being transferred from one flavor to another. - Force vs. Distance graphs are used multiple times in different ways to model the work done by forces.
