Halloween/Autumn Geometry Vocab Story

Students are to create three diagrams with their compass & ruler. They must also explain the steps of the process.

Appearance and Visual appeal Writing is neat and organized or story has been typed.	1 Criteria is not met in all three components. Paper is ripped in several places.	2 Two components of the criteria could have been done more neatly. Poster has one rip in it.	3 One component of the criteria could have been done more neatly.	4 All criteria are done neatly, creating a smooth and very recognizable story.
Proper grammar	1 Student did not use good sentence structure.	2 Student had more than a few spelling and/or grammar mistakes.	3 Student used clear sentences with some misspelling or improper use of grammar.	4 Student had perfect spelling and grammar use.
Steps of construction	1 Student is very unclear on the procedure of the construction.	2 Student left out one or two steps in explaining how to complete the construction.	3 Student is somewhat clear with the instructions. One or two steps maybe confusing.	4 Student is very clear with the instructions in that any person with no compass construction experience could complete the object.
