Content & Development 20 pts Does the writer develop the essay in a convincing way? Are there strong reasons to support the writer's thesis statement? Is the significance (what the author wants readers to gain from reading this) clear? (A Perspective on the Subject)<BR> <BR> SCORE:	Poor Not enough explanations, examples, details, or reasons to support the thesis. Lacks significance.	Needs Improvement Lacks content. Explanations, examples, details, or reasons are not sufficient to support the thesis. Significance unclear.	Good Gives some supporting points, but still needs more proof/reasons/details/examples to be totally credible. Significance is clear or in need of further clarification.	Excellent Solid supporting points tied directly to the thesis statement. They are credible, clearly explained, and provide strong support for thesis. Significance of the subject is clear.
