Number of lines of dialogue	Mal Student has 0 to 6 lines of dialogue/narration.	Bien Student has 6 to 8 lines of dialogue/narration.	Très Bien Student has 8 to 10 lines of dialogue/narration.	Fantastique! Student has 10 or more lines of dialogue/narration.
Vocabulary and Grammar	Mal Student has minimal to no amount of vocabulary in their dialogue and there are more than 8 grammatical errors in all 10 lines.	Bien Student has included vocabulary/grammar in 6 lines of their dialogue and there are 5 to 8 grammatical errors.	Très Bien Student has included vocabulary/grammar in 8 lines of their dialogue and there are 3 to 4 grammatical errors.	Fantastique! All 10 lines of dialogue includes vocabulary and students make less than 3 grammatical errors.
Level of Engagement	Mal Student is not engaged in the dialogue.	Bien Student is somewhat engaged in the dialogue.	Très Bien Student reaches a minimal amount of engagement in the dialogue.	Fantastique! Student is fully engaged in the dialogue.
Pronunciation	Mal Student mumbles and is not speaking clearly. In addition mispronounces words and there are more than 8 grammatical errors.	Bien Student occasionally does not speak clearly, mispronounces words and there are 5 to 8 grammatical errors.	Très Bien Student speaks clearly, pronounces most words correctly and there are 3 to 4 grammatical errors.	Fantastique! Student speaks clearly, pronounces all words correctly and there are less than 3 grammatical errors.
Structure/Flow	Mal The student has poor structure and flow. Needs constant help or has many hesitations.	Bien The student is approaching a good flow and structure of the dialogue.	Très Bien The student has reached a proficiency of good flow and structure.	Fantastique! The student has reached an excellent level of structure and flow.
