Greeting Card Greeting Card Rubric for the greeting card assignment. Looks at appropriateness and consistency primarily, as well as balance, creativity and photographs. Multiple cards are required. Layout
	Poor 7 pts	Fair 10 pts	Good 14 pts
Creativity	Poor Basic design, no premeditation on the fonts or colours. No extra effort.	Fair Basic design but made an effort to create an attractive card.	Good Designed well, extra effort made (used Photoshop, and Indesign very effectively etc).
Letter with card	Poor One or more missing letters or letters with misspelled words, incorrect grammar, or a generally poor effort to portray the relationship of the characters from the book.	Fair The letter is included, but it is not clear for whom the letter is intended and did not clearly relate the character to the events of the book or some or all of the letters are not at least 50 words in length.	Good All letters are included, neatly written, are relevant to the details of the book, are at least 50 words in length, and show the relationship between the characters from the book.
Consistency	Poor Not consistent, the theme of the group of cards is not evident.	Fair Some inconsistencies. Some theme elements are visible. Needs some improvement.	Good All elements are consistent. The theme of the cards is evident and carried through all of them

Work Ethic	Poor Did not turn in all elements of the assignment or did not turn entire assignment in on time.	Good Used time fairly well. Showed a general depth of thought in the theme of the cards and letters.	Excellent Used time well and fully. Clearly linked the cards and the letters together. Used cards to show the relationship of the sender and receiver of each card and letter.
