Guillotine model and Paper
The student will create a three dimensional guillotine. The guillotine will be displayed with a backdrop, representing Paris during the French Revolution. Additionally, the student will research the history of the guillotine and write a paper of at least 250 words. A bibliography must be included.

French Revolution Project Rubric
The students will work on their own to put together a guillotine for display. The project will contain the guillotine, a backdrop of Paris from the time of the novel, a research paper of at least 250 words, and a bibliography of resources used.

The student will create an original work of art that depicts a MAJOR theme from the novel. Drawings or painting should be no more than 8.5 X 11 inches. In addition to the artwork, the student will research and type a paper - at least 250 words - on the French Revolution.
