Students write a song with their own original lyrics, music and melody using Incredibox. Lyrics must be original and have a purpose.

Lyrics/Purpose	Excedes The lyrics are meaningful to the artists, flow with the melody and connect to the overall song. It has good rhythm and meaning. The song has a clear purpose and is exciting to listen to.	Meets Lyrics are meaningful and connect to the music. Clearly thought out and fit the topic. Song has a clear purpose.	Approaches Lyrics are starting to flow with the melody. Some purpose to the song. Song MIGHT fit it's title or topic if you really thought about it, however is still unclear.	Falls Far Below Lyrics clash with the melody and have don't address the main purpose of the song. Purpose is unclear, song doesn't seem to have any focus or topic.
Song Performance	Excedes Students stay serious about their perfomance, they above and beyond by creating movement to go with their song.	Meets Student perform the song well while staying focused and are musically expressive.	Approaches Students perform the song but are constantly laughing and breaking character during the song	Falls Far Below Student perform the song but can't be heard, have little or no expression or feeling.
