	Novice 1 pts	Basic 2 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Advanced 4 pts
Speaks Clearly	Novice Often mumbles or cannot be understood OR mispronounces more than one word.	Basic Speaks clearly and distinctly 85-94% of the time, and mispronounces no more than one word.	Proficient Speaks clearly and distinctly 95-100% of the time, and mispronounces one word.	Advanced Speaks clearly and distinctly 95-100% of the time, and mispronounces no words.
Posture and Eye Contact	Novice Slouches and/or does not look at the audience during the presentation.	Basic Sometimes stands up straight and establishes eye contact with the audience.	Proficient Stands up straight and establishes eye contact with the audience.	Advanced Stands up straight, looks relaxed and confident. Establishes eye contact with the audience.
Volume	Novice Volume is often too soft to be heard by all of the audience.	Basic Volume is loud enough to be heard by all of the audience some of the time.	Proficient Volume is loud enough to be heard by all of the audience most of the time.	Advanced Volume is consistently loud enough to be heard by all of the audience.
Stays on topic with visuals	Novice It is hard to tell what the topic was and/or the presentation does not go with the visuals.	Basic Stays on topic and the presentation goes with the visuals 75-89% of the time.	Proficient Stays on topic and the presentation goes with the visuals 75-89% of the time.	Advanced Stays on topic 100% of the time, and the presentation goes with the visuals 100% of the time.
