Piano Composition Project

Build a musical composition 9 measures long that uses Treble C position and new Bass Clef notes (F to Middle C). Use the notes and rests that you have learned. Compose ONLY intervals of 2nds and 3rds.

Intervals	Excellent Student has written the notes in only intervals of 2nds and 3rds.	Good Student has made an attempt to write most of the notes in intervals of 2nds and 3rds.	Fair Student has included some of the notes in intervals of 2nds and 3rds.	Poor Student has made little or no attempt to write the notes in intervals of 2nds and 3rds.
Notes	Excellent Student has used all 8 notes of Treble C Position and new Bass clef notes (F to middle C) for this composition.	Good Student has used most of the appropriate notes with some errors.	Fair Student has used a variety of notes, some of which include the appropriate notes.	Poor Student has made no effort to use any of the appropriate notes.
Rhythms	Excellent Student used only rhythms that were given by instructor and used them in a varied way. No rhythmic errors in the composition.	Good Student used specified rhythms, but had rhythmic errors in the composition or in variation.	Fair Student did not use specified rhythms or may have used them incorrectly.	Poor Student did not make an attempt to use any right rhythms in any sort of correct order.
Performance	Excellent Student plays composition correctly with no note or rhythm errors.	Good Student plays composition mostly correct with minimal playing errors.	Fair Student plays the composition but with a considerable amount of errors.	Poor Student makes little or no attempt to play the composition.
Creativity/Musicality	Excellent Student has composed with variety of notes and rhythms and a high degree of musicality.	Good Student has mostly composed with variety of notes and rhythms and a variable degree of musicality.	Fair Student has somewhat composed with variety of notes and rhythms and some degree of musicality.	Poor Student has composed with no variety of notes and rhythms and no degree of musicality.
