Answers were well thought out and showed thorough understanding of the book and the intent of the author. Answers were clear and concise with good vocabulary.
Completeness	Poor Few answers are completed. Student has less than 3 stamps.	Fair Most answers have been completed. Some of the answers given in class have been corrected. Student has 3-4 stamps.	Good All answers are complete. Many of given answers have been corrected. Student has 5-6 stamps.	Excellent All answers are completed to the best of their ability. Answers shared in class have been corrected if necessary. Student has 7 or 8 stamps.
Effort	Poor No effort was made to impress or convey the extent of understanding. Handwriting is difficult to read.	Fair Minimal effort was made to impress or was inconsistent. Just wanted to 'get it done'. Acceptable handwriting.	Good Consistent effort is shown throughout the project, equally thorough answers are given on all assignments. Student wanted to do it well. Good handwriting.	Excellent High-quality effort-Shows time and effort and pride in the finished product. Student was sure to do their best. Handwriting is very neat and easy to read.
