Excellent Student seems to understand entire story and accurately answer all questions related to story.
Participates Willingly	Poor Student does not participate willingly.	Fair Student does not volunteer answers, but willingly tries to answer questions they are asked.	Good Student volunteers once or twice and willingly tries to answer all questions asked.	Excellent Student routinely volunteers answers to questions and willingly tries to answer all questions asked.
Reflective journal	Poor Student is on the wrong page or clearly reading behind what has been assigned. No notes or written content in reflective journal.	Fair Student is on the correct page and seems to be keeping up, but may fall behind occasionally in journal and keeping notes. Missing one or two reflections.	Good Student is on the correct page and can follow along in discussion but may be unable to answer some questions or occasionally misses a reflection assignment in journal.
