Vocabulary--nouns & verbs	Poor The student uses three or less different vocabulary words (nouns) from the list.	Fair The student uses four different vocabulary words (nouns) from the list.	Average The student uses five different vocabulary words (nouns) from the list.	Good The student uses six different vocabulary words (nouns) from the list.	Excellent The student uses all 14 (16) or more different vocabulary words (nouns/verbs) from the predetermined list
Grammar--preterit tense	Poor The student has four or more errors using the preterit tense.	Fair The student has three errors using the preterit tense.	Average The student has two errors using the preterit tense	Good The student has one error using the preterit tense	Excellent The student has zero errors using the preterit tense.
Coherence	Poor There is no evidence of a plot, you cannot distinguish characters, or who is talking.	Fair There is a little bit of coherence. There is confusion of who is talking and when.	Average Characters and plot are distinguishable but the skit does not flow well.	Good Characters and plot are developed. There is no confusion.	Excellent Characters and plot are well developed. It is clear and concise.
