Art Collage Rubric

The students will create a collage to show theme associated with their lives. The theme should be a cohesive piece that recreates the student's portrait of self.

Poor The collage includes few representations of theme and student portrait is lost.
Mechanics	Excellent The work done exceeds all expectations and requirements of the project.	Good The work done meets all expectations and requirements of the project.	Fair The work done meets some of the requirements of the project.	Poor The work done does not meet most expectations and requirements of the project.
Organization	Excellent The portrait is used in the collage and is clearly and well organized and is very easy to understand. The student's personal self comes through.	Good The canvas of the collage is organized and is easy to understand. The identity of the student can be seen with some effort.	Fair The canvas of the collage is somewhat organized and is somewhat easy to understand. The identity of the student is not clear.	Poor The canvas of the collage is not well organized. It is not easy to understand. Personal self is lost.
Fluidity of collage	Excellent Neatness and fluidity of the collage is very pleasing to the eye.	Good Neatness and fluidity of the collage is pleasing to the eye.	Fair Neatness and fluidity of the collage is somewhat pleasing to the eye.	Poor Neatness and fluidity of the collage is not pleasing to the eye.
