Opinion Clearly Stated	Good Student has clearly stated opinion on the topic.	Fair Students' opinion is unclear but on topic.	Poor Student did not state an opinion topic.
Paragraph structure.	Good Student has written 4 complete sentences and indented the first sentence.	Fair Student has written 4 complete sentences but did not indent the first sentence.	Poor Student wrote 2-3 sentences and did not indent the first sentence.
Effort	Good Student restated their opinion in a closing sentence.	Fair Student made an effort to restate their opinion in the last sentence bringing the paragraph to closure.	Poor Student made no effort to write a concluding sentence.
