Choose a theme. Write a short story. 
Students must choose from a list of common themes and write a story using one of the prompts with it. The story must teach a lesson or have a message related to the selected theme, but otherwise there are no restrictions on the object or what the story is about. The story must be at least one double-spaced page in length.
