Imagery (Words)	Level 1 I used ordinary words that are not very interesting.<BR> My meaning is confusing to the reader.	Level 2 I used some some interesting words.<BR> My words tell what I mean.	Level 3 I used many the right words that make clear pictures in the reader's head.	Level 4 I used all the right words that make clear pictures in the reader's head
Music (Rhythm)	Level 1 My words do not have rhythm. They sound like ordinary reading.	Level 2 My words have some rhythm and sound like poetry.	Level 3 The rythym helps tell the most of the meaning and makes the poetry fun to read.	Level 4 The rythym helps tell all the meaning and makes the poetry fun to read
Emotion (Feelings)	Level 1 The reader of my poem can't tell what my feelings are.	Level 2 My reader has a connection with what I wrote and understands my feelings.
