B

Has good evidence to support claims, but may lack a key a few key quotations. Analysis is good but might be a little weak at times

D

Overall, the paper had potential, but suffers from a lot of mistakes, and from a lack of planning or effort. Has good sections or bright points, but is not clear or cohesive enough, nor is it persuasive or well argued. Sources need to be read deeper, and the paper needed more planning and thought

Overall, the paper demonstrates that the student did not read, did not read deeply enough, and/or did not plan or organize the paper. Needs much more thought and depth of analysis.
