Transformations on the Coordinate Plane Geometric Transformations on the Coordinate Plane Students were given preimages of figures on coordinate planes and had to perform the transformations described. Perform Translations	Exceeds the Standards Student was able to correctly perform both translations.	Meets the Standards Student was able to perform both translations with a minor error.	Attempts the Standards Student attempted to perform translations but moved in the wrong direction.	Does Not Meet the Standards Student totally ignored the rule given and translated using his own rule.
Perform Relections	Exceeds the Standards Student was able to correctly perform both reflections.	Meets the Standards Student was able to correctly perform one of the reflections, but made a minor error in the other.	Attempts the Standards Student was able to correctly perform both reflections, but confuses the x-axis with the y-axis.	Does Not Meet the Standards Student attempted to reflect but generated too many errors.
Perform Rotations	Exceeds the Standards Student was able to correctly perform both rotations.	Meets the Standards Student was able to correctly perform a 90 degree and a 180 degree rotation, but direction was incorrect.	Attempts the Standards Student was able to correctly perform a 90 degree but not a 180 degree rotation; or vice versa.	Does Not Meet the Standards Student attempted to rotate but generated too many errors.
Writing Coordinates	Exceeds the Standards Student was able to correctly write all of the coordinates with minor errors.	Meets the Standards Student was able to correctly write 3/4 of the coordinates.	Attempts the Standards Student was able to correctly write 1/2 of the coordinates.	Does Not Meet the Standards Student was able to correctly write1/4 of the coordinates.
