Essential Questions	Poor Paper does not include any essential questions.	Average Includes only one essential question that the writer answers.	Good Includes two essential questions but does not answer them clearly.	Excellent Writer does a great job of explaining their essential questions and explaining how they answered them.
Evidence of Research	Poor Paper does not include any evidence of facts or completed research. No citations are used.	Average Very little evidence of factual information is present in the paper. Not enough citations are used to show research.	Good Research was completed; citations are useful in showing research was completed.	Excellent Ample research is shown to reinforce the facts and it is evident that research helped to shape the entire project.
