Music Mad Lib

Students will work in pairs to create a Mad Lib. They will then trade with a friend who will fill it in using various parts of speech and music vocabulary.

Grammar/Parts of Speech	Excellent Student correctly use nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives and tense missing from their Mad Lib. There was no more than one error in the story. Student worked independently from teacher.	Satisfactory Student had 2 to 3 errors using nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives or tense in the Mad Lib story. Student needed some assistance from the teacher.	Needs Improvement Student had 4 or more errors using nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives or tense in the Mad Lib story. Student couldn't do activity independently of teacher.
Collaboration	Excellent Students worked together in pairs well.	Satisfactory Students had difficulties working together.	Needs Improvement Students did not work together and one student ended up doing most of the work.
Music Vocabulary	Excellent Student correctly fills in all of Mad Lib blanks with the correct music vocabulary when required.	Satisfactory Student misses 1-2 blanks of music vocabulary, when required, in Mad Lib .	Needs Improvement Student misses all of the music vocabulary, when required, in Mad Lib.
