Bill of Rights Shield Project Rubric 
Students will create a Bill of Rights shield. The shield will include pictures and phrases explaining each of the six amendments discussed in chapter 15.

Shield design is orignial. There are drawings for all amendments (6). Very colorful.
Content

Each amendment should include all rights for that amendment, two examples of how showing the use of the rigths.

Project is missing half or more of the explanaitons for the amendments.

Project has most of the required explanations for the amendments.

Project has all of the required elements. (i.e. all the rights in the amendment are listed, two examples of using the right are shown.)
Neatness

Explanations can be written neatly in hand or done on the computer.

Size of Posterboard/Name
