Rewrite Scene Rewrite Scene • REWRITE SCENE (15 points): Choose one scene from the play and rewrite the scene (in play format) but with modern diction. Events	Distinguished Student has rewritten a scene from the Crucible with modern diction. Scene accurately reflects events from the play without changing any meaning, just the language.	Proficient Student has rewritten a scene from the Crucible with modern diction. Scene somewhat reflects events from the play minor changes in meaning.	Apprentice Student has rewritten a scene from the Crucible with modern diction. Scene has some reflection on events from the play.	Novice Student has created a scene that never occurred.
Length	Distinguished Rewritten scene is one page in length.	Proficient Rewritten scene is half page in length.	Apprentice Rewritten scene is less than 1/2 page in length but more than 1/4 page in length.	Novice Rewritten scene is less than 1/4 page in length.
