Frame Quality	Excellent Includes eight complete frames that lead readers through a complete storyline. Final product has a polished look.	Good There are eight frames, but some are incomplete or leave readers guessing on the storyline. Final product is neat, and easy to follow.	Fair There are less than eight frames. Final product is somewhat neat and/or may be hard to follow.	Poor There are very few frames. Final product is messy and is hard to follow leaving readers confused.
Captions	Excellent Captions clearly relate to the action in the frames, are thoughtfully developed, and advance the storyline.	Good Captions relate to the action in the frames, are developed, and advance the storyline.	Fair Captions are loosely related to the action in the frames, may lack development, and/or fail to advance the the storyline.	Poor Captions do not relate well to the scenes, are not developed, and/or fail to advance the the storyline.
Characters	Excellent The main characters are clearly identified, and their actions and dialogue are well-matched to their actions and dialogue.	Good The main characters are clearly identified, and their actions and dialogue match actions and dialogue.
