You are the teacher!

Groups will choose a topic. Each group will produce a lesson, complete with presentation, an exciting activity, a visual aide and an informative worksheet. Each group will prepare and practice their lesson in class before presenting their activity to the entire group. The presentation will take approximately 20 minutes.

There was an attempt to use a visual aide. The group had a decent explanation of the topic and how to identify it correctly. The presentation was fairly organized.	Excellent Team uses creativity to explain the topic. A visual aide was used. This presentation explains the topic and how to identify it correctly. Everything was presented in an organized manner.
Worksheet The worksheet provided a good review for the understanding of the topic.	Poor There was no worksheet for students to practice or use.	Good Worksheet is somewhat interesting and somewhat helps youth practice. Worksheet provides some opportunities to practice.	Excellent Worksheet is interesting and will help youth practice their topic. Worksheet provides many opportunities for practice.
Activity This activity will aid in the learning the information and gives practice of knowledge in an interesting way.	Poor Activity does not prove that the team understand and know the topic. Teamwork The students show how well they work together in order to create a comprehensive teaching lesson. Each student should hold others accountable for the presentation and preparation as a group.	Poor Group does not work together to complete any task or portion of the presentation. Team does not demonstrate progress since the classroom presentation.	Good The team attempts to work together and support each other to complete the assignment. The team shows an attempt at progress since the classroom presentation.	Excellent The group works together to complete the assignment. The team shows progress since class presentation.
Individual Work Students was well prepared and understood the topic they were teaching prior to their presentation. The student must participate in every part of preparing and presenting the lesson. Preparation is the most important part and therefore if student is using an electronic device, he or she will receive no credit for this portion.	Poor Student did not work well with the team. The student participated in little to no part of preparing and/or presenting the lesson. The student did not know the material that he or she was to be teaching. Unauthorized cell phone use	Good Student somewhat worked with the team. Student attempted to participate in part of preparing and presenting the lesson and made at least a small measurable contribution.	Excellent Youth worked very well with the team. The youth participated in every part of preparing and presenting the lesson and made a substantial contribution.
