Science Portfolio

This is an assessment of a science portfolio that students will have created over the entire semester. Each individual assignment will have already been marked so this is an assessment of the portfolio as a whole. Both the teacher and the student will mark the portfolio according to this rubric.

Portfolio Content	Needs some work Student is missing 5 or more required assignments	You're on your way... Student missing 3-4 required assignments	You got it! Student is missing 1-2 required assignments	Outstanding! Student includes all of the required assignments. Audio, Video, Writing pieces, pictures, Topics.
Organization & Neatness	Needs some work Material is unorganized and difficult to understand. Missing a number of pieces.	You're on your way... Organization is basic. Missing more than a few pieces.	You got it! Materials presented in an effective manner. Very few pieces missing.	Outstanding! Materials presented in a very creative and effective manner. No pieces missing.
Creativity where needed	Needs some work Material is not creative	You're on your way... Student makes an attempt at creativity	You got it! Good effort in creativity	Outstanding! Outstanding creativity
Summit Performance	Needs some work Arguments were not fact based or irrelevant. Team was disrespectful to other teams	You're on your way... Arguments were shaky but realistic. Team interrupted other teams 1-2 times	You got it! Arguments were solid and realistic, with just a few holes for practicality. Team did not interrupt other teams at all.	Outstanding!
