Poor

Students failed to adequately portray their knowledge of media's affects on people, culture, and society. They did the bear minimum.
Fair

Students understood the basics as it pertained to media's affects on people, culture, and society. But they left a lot of important information off the Glogster poster.
Good

Students portrayed a good understanding of media's affects to people, culture, and society. They included most, but not all, of the important information as it pertains to media's affect.
Excellent

Students went above and beyond. They portrayed a vast array of knowledge on the subject matter and included all the important topics that pertains to media's affects on people, culture, and society.
Creativity/Effectiveness

Poor

Students failed to make a creative and effective Glogster poster. The students obviously did not take much time on this project and therefore made it less creative and ineffective.
Fair

Students obviously spent a little time on this project and made it somewhat creative and effective. The poster was somewhat visually appealing and included some of the main topics pertaining to the media.
Good

Students spent a lot of time on this poster. It is visually appealing and includes most of, but not all, the information necessary to receive full credit.
Excellent

Students spent a lot of time on this poster. They made it visually appealing as well as included their vast knowledge on the subject matter. Students went above and beyond.
Student Collaboration

Students will be given a peer evaluation sheet to fill out at the end of this project giving their group members a personal grade. This will ensure that everyone did their fair share of the work. Students failed to work collaboratively on this project. One or two students seemed to do all the work while others didn't. Those who didn't will receive a poor grade.
Fair

Most of the students worked collaboratively together to ensure that the project was done well. However, there was a student or two who seemed to not do much, and that student will receive a fair grade.
Good

All of the students worked collaboratively together. However, some worked a lot harder on this then others. Those who failed to equal a fair share's worth of work, but still cooperated positively, will receive a good grade.
Excellent

All of the students worked collaboratively together. They all cooperated and provided an equal amount of productivity and work on the project. They all worked hard to ensure they were a great and reliable group member. These students will receive an excellent grade.
