Historical Timeline Presentation Historical Timeline Students will work in groups of three or more to develop a timeline that trace the events that led to the American Revolutionary War. In the timeline they will need to have at least 7 factual dates representing this era. They will also need to provide visual images related to their topic. After timeline is created, students will present their timeline using a Screencast. Historical Timeline of Events
	Poor 10 pts	Fair 20 pts	Good 25 pts
Facts	Poor Facts were often inaccurate for events reported on the timeline. Less than 5 facts were highlighted in timeline.	Fair Facts were accurate for almost all events reported on the timeline. 5 or more facts were highlighted in timeline.	Good Facts were accurate for all events reported on the timeline. 7 or more facts were highlighted in timeline.
Content	Poor The student cannot use the timeline effectively to describe events, nor to compare events	Fair The student can accurately describe 75% of the events on the timeline and can determine which two events are significant turning points for that era.	Good The student can accurately describe 100% of the events on the timeline and can determine which two are significant turning points and compare events for that era.
Group Work	Poor Individuals do not work in roles. Presentation is incomplete on due date due to group problems.	Fair Individuals work together. Presentation is completed on time due to group effort.	Good Individuals work well together. Presentation is completed on time. Students worked within their roles while assisting others.
Oral Presentation	Poor Students simply read from notes, without elobration, or do not speak clearly to the class.	Fair Students face the camera and provide some eloboration of the material being presented, but do not speak clearly at all times or mispronounce more than two words.	Good Students face the camera, provide good elaboration of the material being presented, and speak clearly, without mispronouncing more than two words.
