Movie Trailer

Students are to create a movie trailer on a short film. The trailer, known as the preview to audiences, is the standard way of advertising your film. This acts as a commercial for your movie that tells a little about the film, using footage from that film.

Setting and Props	Advanced Setting is a realistic representation of the scenario. The dialogue and setting are in harmony with each other and strengthen the film. Props are properly used and help support the reality of the scene. Creativity and effort is demonstrated as a result.	Good Setting is a realistic representation of the scenario. The dialogue and setting are connected. Props are properly used and help support the reality of the scene.	Fair Setting can be a realistic representation of the scenario with a little imagination. The dialogue and setting are roughly harmonious with each other but does weaken the reality of the short film. Little prop use. If used, does little to help support the reality of the scene. For the most part, things correlate well but somethings seem out of place. Creativity and effort is demonstrated but could be improved.	Poor Setting is not realistic to the scenario. Camera Shots Exposure, Angles, Lighting	Advanced Filming is steady, easy to see and depicts reality of the subject filmed. Lighting is good. Scenes & Essence Editing	Advanced Scenes are chosen appropriately. They are short and filled with text or action, or other relevant moments from the novel. Theme is clear.	Good Scenes are chosen appropriately for the most part. A few scenes might not be relevant to capturing the essence of the treatment.	Fair Scenes chosen do not add to trailer and are weak.
