Color Scheme

I used the appropriate colors and my color scheme is obvious to the viewer.

Good

Student mostly recognizes and demonstrates the correct color schemes. (Added one or two additional color.)
Fair

Student does not recognize and demonstrate the correct color schemes. (Used random colors that don't follow a scheme, combined multiple color schemes.)
Required Elements

Fair

Student did not use their time well. He/she did not accomplish much on most days. Student was not in their seat working on their project and needed numerous reminders to begin working one their project.
Craftsmanship

My art is tidy and carefully made. Drawing, coloring, and cutting, were neat. I made my name large enough to accommodate the required elements.

Excellent

Student's artwork is tidy and it looks like he/she took their time. Drawing, coloring, and cutting are neat and carefully done. Student challenged themselves by having their name or elements fill up a large portion of the paper.
Good

Student's artwork has some smudges, visible pencil lines, etc. Drawing, coloring, and cutting are somewhat neatly done. Some visible lines in the colored pencil areas instead of a smooth application of the color like what we learned during our technique instruction day.
Fair

Drawing, coloring, and cutting are not neatly done. Artwork has many smudges, visible pencil lines, or the colored pencils areas have many areas of visible lines instead of using small circles like what we learned during our technique instruction day.
Effort

My art looks complete. I spent a great deal of time sketching, coloring, etc. There were 7 days of studio time allowed for this project and my work reflects that fact.

Excellent

Student filled the whole page with all the required elements and/or student added more than what was required of them. Students artwork looks like they spent a great deal of time on it or all of the 7 studio days working on it.
Good

Student's name didn't fill up a whole page, left a large area of negative space (white area of the paper), and could have been larger. Students artwork looks like they spent a fair amount of time on it.
Fair

Student's artwork does not look like they spent a great deal of time on it. Student's artwork does not reflect the fact that we had 7 days of studio time.
