Independent Study/ Behavior Rubric Independent Study/ Behavior Rubric Students can earn from 0-20 points per class, based on your behavior during class. A student's Independent Study/ Behavior Grade is contingent upon how the student chooses to use and participate after the lesson has been given and have extra time for independent study. Respects Others	4 Shows no respect for others.	12 Shows respect some of the time.	20 Demonstrates respect to oneself and others in learning environment.
Does Not Disrupt	4 Interrupts others 3 or more times in a class period. Disrupts learning environment.	12 Interrupts others 1-2 times in a a class period (asking your neighbors for help does not count as a disruption of others).	20 Does not disrupt others during the class period.
Completes Assigned Work/Tasks	4 Rarely or never completes tasks or projects assigned.	12 Attempts to complete assignment to the best of your ability.	20 Remains on task and completes assignments within the period.
Actively engaged in independent stu	4 Is not actively reading and completing assignment at hand. Is not helping other students if able to.	12 Actively engaged in only part of assignment at hand. Inappropriately helping other students (doing the work for the student and or copying assignments.)	20 Actively engaged in assignment at hand and helping students who need explanation of directions at hand.
