Choice and Order ofScenes Choice and Order of Scenes	Excellent Scenes represent all the most important events that occur in the book in coherent order without revealing the conclusion until the end.	Good Scenes represent most of the important events in the book in coherent order without revealing the conclusion until the end.	Fair Scene some of the important events in the book, in coherent order but either highlights unimportant events or misses some major events.	Poor Lists some events in the book, but information is incomplete or incoherent.
Captions	Excellent Captions adequately explain the scenes, and the connections to the plot line are easy to understand.	Good Captions explain the scenes and most plot connections are easy to understand.	Fair Captions are related to the scenes and to the book, but the plot connections are less obvious.	Poor Captions do not relate well to the scenes. There seems to be no connection or connections are very general.
Characters	Excellent The main characters are clearly identified, and their actions and dialogue are clearly well-matched to their actions and dialogue in the book.
