Daily News Show TV Show Students will use this criteria to create their daily news shows. Rubric Code: DX95WW5 By ptesterman Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Business Type: Presentation Grade Levels: 6-8, 9-12

	Excellent/Masterful 20 pts	Good/Skilled 15 pts	Adequate/Able 10 pts	Below Average/Apprentice 5 pts
Meets Goals of Project 1 pts - Completed on time<BR> - Follows Directions<BR> - Includes all required segments	Excellent/Masterful Show was completed on time. All directions were followed and all project criteria were incorporated in it.	Good/Skilled Show was completed on time following directions. Most of the project criteria were incorporated into it. Show well represented.	Adequate/Able Show almost completed on time but not all directions followed and not all criteria incorporated into project. Show is adequately represented.	Below Average/Apprentice Show not completed on time. Directions were not followed well and several criteria were not included.
Creativity 1 pts - Originality in design- Use of graphical elements	Excellent/Masterful Totally original show design, used some designs seen from well known shows in pop culture or strong ties to novel as inspiration.	Good/Skilled Most of the shows elements are unique.	Adequate/Able Some aspects of the show are unique.	Below Average/Apprentice Majority of elements are not original or show creative thought.
Audio/Camera 1 pts -Audio was clear throughout<BR> -Camera Angles and shots were effective	Excellent/Masterful Audio is clear throughout entire show. Mic levels do not spike. Camera angles are creative yet appropriate. Head room and nose room are correct.	Good/Skilled Audio is clear through most of the show. Camera angles and shots are mostly cohesive and correct.	Adequate/Able Audio is only clear sometimes. Camera shots are shaky and not correct.	Below Average/Apprentice Audio levels are off through most of the show. Mic levels spike frequently. Camera shots and angles are not appropriate for the scene.
Planning/Effort 1 pts Appropriate use of: <BR> - Time in class<BR> - Time spent out of class	Excellent/Masterful Class time was used wisely. Much time and effort went into the planning and design of the show. It is clear the students worked diligently.	Good/Skilled Class time was used wisely. Student could have put in more time and effort in class.	Adequate/Able Class time was not always used wisely.Student could have put in more time and effort in class.	Below Average/Apprentice Class time was not used wisely and the student put in little to no additional effort in class.
